The Mind Museum

We looked like the teachers surrounded by students. Oh yeah.

Liezel and I planned this trip a month before ever since I was scheduled to fly to Manila for a business trip. And yes, the post-business itinerary was planned! We finally decided to visit the Mind Museum over another themed park.

The Mind Museum is located at Bonifacio Global City,Taguig.
It is the first non-profit, non-stock, private World-Class Science Museum in the Philippines ~ (http://www.facebook.com/themindmuseum/info)

We purchased our tickets online which is at Php600.00 each.

Finally, the month long wait was over. We were at the front steps of the museum and we found ourselves surrounded by a crowd of students having a field trip. We seemed to be the only adults. Haha!

So our journey to re-explore Science began.

my favorite!

It was learning Science all over. Only difference was the interactive element  of the museum made the exploration more fun!

Every inch of the museum simply wows you.

Oh, by the way, don't miss to visit the Museum Park. We failed to visit that certain area. We did not know it was there. Lesson learned: research.

Anyhow, we had a great time exploring. This is to all the Dora Explorers out there. You'll love the adventure.

Dance with my Father

It has been more than 10 years that we celebrate Father's Day in a different kind of way. June 9 is papa's birthday which also falls on the special month for fathers.

Papa left us at an early age. I was 13 then. And this is how we have come to celebrate his birthday as well as greet him happy father's day from then on.

We also visited our lolos to greet them happy father's day too.

"If I could get another chance
Another walk
Another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love love love
To dance with my father again"
LUTHER VANDROSS

Remembering papa is a bittersweet memory.

Cheat Days

So I was missing from the blog world for about 2 weeks already?!? I didn't realize it was already that long. What was I doing then?  Uhm...office deadlines and some activities, wall climbing 'til almost late night, new postings for our online shop, and my most awaited trip to Manila for a workshop and lakwatsa galore.

Just got back from the trip - a little bit light headed - but I don't want to keep you wondering what's been going on with me. So here goes ^-^

Yes it was a 3-days cheat days. We've been dining out with my colleagues and friends in different restaurants in different locations.

 Chihuahua

I arrived in Manila on the evening of the 14th and my colleagues  invited me to have dinner. First stop was at Chihuahua - Mexican Grill & Margarita Bar.  It was just a walking distance from Berjaya hotel where I was staying, right across A. Venue hotel. I was fond of its unique resto name and of course the mexican dishes they served.

Kabisera

On the 15th, we dined at Kabisera which is located at Bonifacio High Street. It was also a reunion with a few colleagues as well as a get together with the rest of my colleagues who also happened to be in Manila. They serve Pinoy dishes. It was not what I expected the place to be - thinking it was a fine dining restaurant. But the place was too noisy that we can barely hear ourselves talk. It was too crowded for a small space. Anyhow, we still enjoyed the night together.

 Outback

Before heading out to Enchanted Kingdom (my most awaited trip!)on Saturday, we had lunch at Outback in Glorietta. The place was cozy. And we enjoyed the food. I especially loved the calamares and the green mango shake. Namit!

Blackbeard's Seafood Island

And before heading out to Terminal 3 for my flight back home earlier, i got together with a close friend for lunch. thanks for the treat Leah! ^-^ We had lunch at Blackbeard's Seafood Island at Greenbelt 3. Try it out there, you will be surprised how big the serving is (it's not evident in the photo). The place is best for groups of 3 and more. You'll know when you dine there. ^-^

What a food trip it was! Let me defend myself though because I promised to eat less. I did! Except for the Seafood Island where I was forced!to eat rice (haha).

Yummy holiday!

It's the Climb!

And I...I gotta keep tryin'...gotta keep my hand held high...

I missed wall climbing. I started last December 2011 but it was short lived dahil maraming dahilan, hindi naghahanap ng paraan (excuses, excuses). Well I stopped because I no longer have a buddy - for one. But now I've decided to return, determined (hopefully I get to sustain it; note to self - more discipline).

A wall climbing facility is available at Marco Hotel, Cugman, CdO. This is facilitated by Zero Grab - a rock climbing community.

I can only manage climbing Wall 1, and half way of Wall 2. Really challenging.

Wet hair?

Not a result of getting soaked in the rain nor from taking a shower. That's real sweat! Whew! It's a satisfying work out. I don't mind the burning feeling on my fingers from climbing,it's part of the package.

Dancing, Wall climbing...more?
Target: 50lbs loss.
Challenge: Discipline.

Ready, Set, Go!

Davao | Jack's Ridge

Our Davao escapade was not finished yet. We still had our 7th Stop at Jack's Ridge. What's special with this place? It's overlooking Davao City.I also find the place perfect for a prenup   photo shoot and a wedding reception.

Jack's Ridge is best to be visited at night time - a great place to relax and dine and enjoy night swimming!

I could really use a WISH right now...

I'm Gonna Marry...

..the Niiiight!

Lady Gaga's song plus Dov Sandalo's dance choreography gave me the back pain and stiff neck. But I don't really care. I missed dancing - especially with my fellow dance enthusiasts!

Oh, I'm the Woman in Black ^-^
