After
the fun pictorials, we went back to our cottage to eat our first meal in
Dahilayan - Lunch! Courtesy of our cook, Jiemar. We waited for Pam2x to arrive
before we continued with our quest to explore Dahilayan. And of course, we
needed to charge the camera's battery.

Afterwards,
we took the short cut to Dahilayan Adventure Park. It was a 10 minute
walk before reaching the Obstacle Course and the Landing Zone for the 150m zip
ride (already a part of the Adventure Park). And there was a new attraction for
guests - the Drop Zone. We took the concrete stairs up to the main area of the
Adventure Park. We had to catch our breaths after we reached the top. We took a
quick look and a few poses (we were on a tight budget so no rides for us)
before heading for Dahilayan Forest Park (another 5 minute walk).

Before
we could enter Dahilayan Forest Park, we had to pay Php100.00 entrance
fee per person since it was a weekend (only Php50.00 on regular days). Voila! The
attractions were remarkable: life-sized figures and forest animals here and
there, wonderfully crafted playground, Beautiful fish ponds, forest-styled
picnic grounds, and some Adventure Games.
We
headed back to Dahilayan Gardens & Resort by sunset. Jiemar prepared our
food for Dinner. It was like we're having a feast. Everyone was very busog and sleepy.

We
didn't manage to go outside because the air was freezing cold. We even had to
close our windows and wear our jackets and socks (the floor tiles were icy). It
was bed time for us.

Sleeping time |
On
the next day, Jiemar woke up early to prepare our sumptuous breakfast. While
waiting for our meal, we took a few shots of the early morning view. Then rain
started to pour by 8:00am. Fogs enveloped the area. We had to wait until the
rain subsides before checking out. We were greeted by the caretakers on our way
out to inspect the Cottage and asked us to sign their survey form. All we can
say was Excellent! Except for minor glitches like the shower heater tripped a
few times, and no table wipes available.

Our
next challenge was to find a ride home. And we managed to ask a group to ride
along in their pick up. They were heading for the Zip Zone so we asked to be
dropped on the main road and again waited for another ride. Pam2x managed to
ask a multicab driver so we waited. We paid Php125.00 each for the ride going
to Camp Phillips. Then we paid Php60.00 for the van heading for Cagayan de Oro
City.

It
was a short stay but all worth the fun and excitement. Highly recommended to
friends and families for recreation and bonding moments.
I
still wish to go back. Until next time Dahilayan.
Special thanks to Jiemar, Ingrid, Maybelle, and Pam Pam for the great time!
